Yellow rice

Simply adding turmeric to a pilaf rice transforms plain, boring rice into a colorful addition to any Indian curry!

  • Ingredients

    • 200g rice
    • 7g oil
    • 7g margarine
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • Instructions

    1. Wash the rice until water comes out clear.
    2. Heat up oil + margarine in a pan, and fry the rice for 1 min until translucent.
    3. Add turmeric + salt, and 350g hot water.
    4. Cover with a lid, lower heat, and let the rice absorb all the water.
