Yellow rice
Simply adding turmeric to a pilaf rice transforms plain, boring rice into a colorful addition to any Indian curry!
Ingredients
- 200g rice
- 7g oil
- 7g margarine
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
Instructions
- Wash the rice until water comes out clear.
- Heat up oil + margarine in a pan, and fry the rice for 1 min until translucent.
- Add turmeric + salt, and 350g hot water.
- Cover with a lid, lower heat, and let the rice absorb all the water.
