Guacamole
There are probably as many versions of guacamole as there are inhabitants in Mexico, but here is my version, which is fresh and simple. Serve it in nachos, or simply eat as is with corn chips as starters/appetisers at a party!
Recipe inspired from La Cuisine de Bernard.
Ingredients
- 300g avocado flesh (~400g before peeling)
- 125g fresh tomatoes, chopped very small
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 15g lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Tabasco & fresh coriander to taste
Instructions
- Smash avocado in a bowl with a fork.
- Add all other ingredients, and mix well.
- If you are not going to eat it straight away, place a plastic wrap directly in contact with the surface of the guacamole to minimise contact with the ambient air, and refrigerate.
- Serve it with corn chips.
